Once direct SIP has been established, users will likely benefit from simultaneous ring (“SimRing”) integration. SimRing in this scenario means that when a Mitel phone extension is called the call will be “forked” to a associated Microsoft Lync endpoint (which typically belongs to the same user as the Mitel phone extension).
